I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio where I grew up with a family that loved music and culture. My parents exposed our family to every form
of music as well as all the great cultural institutions available. What a treat to go to the opera, symphony, musical theater and museums as a child.
I studied studio fine art at Ohio State University then commercial art and design at the Columbus College of Art & Design and have been a professional artist for over 25 years. I've had studios in Key West, Florida, Covington, Kentucky and Chicago,IL. My work is widely collected throughout the United States and abroad.

I work mostly in oils and have expanded into acrylics in recent years enjoying both mediums immensely. My primary subject matter is figurative
with a focus on the opera and opera balcony scenes. Drama, whimsy and romance are captured in these dreamy scenes with over the top characters enjoying themselves for a night on the town.

My landscape and cityscape work has been influenced by many trips to great romantic cities. The sights, sounds, smells, colors and beauty
come alive in my mind every time I paint them. I hope you feel the same when you view them and will enjoy one in your home for years to
come.
